Godi Enı̨thł'è - April 13th - 17th
Last week, our grade 3, 4 and 5 students had the opportunity to go the the Yellowknife Ski Club for ski lessons. SHOUT OUT to our PAC members for making this event possible for our youth. The kindergarten to grade 2 students will be headed out to the ski club on Monday, April 13th for their lessons. Along with skiing, students had the chance to snowshoe and enjoy hot chocolate and bannock around the fire.

Breakfast Club
We continue to offer a breakfast program to all Itlo studdents. Serving whole wheat toasts, bagels, cereals, milk, cheese, yogurts, oatmeal and fruits. We are looking for Breakfast Program volunteers from 7:50 - 8:40 each morning. If you have a few minutes to spare in the mornings, please sign up here.
*** A reminder that JK students are welcomed to attend breakfast club however must be accompanied by a parent or adult.***
A gentle reminder that Breakfast begins at 8:05 for students. They must wait outside until a staff member is on site at 8:05. Once students are finished eating, they are to wait outdoors until the 8:20 bell.
Zhah Day!
To give you a some context on the word ‘Zhah’, it is translated to ‘Snow’ in Willideh; therefore Zah Day = Snow Day. In efforts to celebrate both the Indigenous and French cultures, we have put together a combination of fun activities for the day! Parents are most welcome to join in the festivities of the day!
École Įtł’ǫ̀ - 2026/2027 Student Information Request
As we begin to plan for the 2026/2027 school year, we rely upon accurate information from our parent community regarding educational plans for your child next year. Please note that this is ONLY for children who are currently registered at École Įtł’ǫ̀ for the 2025/2026 school year. As part of this process, parents of students who intend to return to Įtł’ǫ̀ in September will be given an opportunity to make suggestions about their child's classroom placement. Please fill out this FORM by MAY 1st, 2026. Although we cannot guarantee your requests, we will do out best.
Junior Super Soccer Tournament
Tournament April 15th-19th and all games will take place at the Fieldhouse. Practices will resume this week for all Itlo girls and boys teams. Game schedule TBA later this week.
