Godi Enı̨thł'è - March 2nd-6th
Last week, students learning about the Northern and Inuit Games with special guest, Donald Kuptana from Inuvik. Donald has worked hard at preserving the Inuit cultures through the teaching of these Northern Games. To be able to survive the harsh conditions and temperatures, the Inuit people needed to be in tip top shape and so they were constantly making games that would help them to survive. These were games to improve accuracy, strength, balance and of course, fun!
