Last week, the grade 12 french immersion students from SJF came to support literacy in some of our classes. Our students (and staff) had the pleasure of hearing them speak in French and do fun literacy activities. It was good to see those students especially since they would have gone through JH Sissons.

September 30th - Truth and Reconciliation Day - No school
Breakfast Club
We continue to offer a breakfast program to all Itlo studdents. Serving whole wheat toasts, bagels, cereals, milk, cheese, yogurts, oatmeal and fruits. We are looking for Breakfast Program volunteers from 7:50 - 8:40 each morning. If you have a few minutes to spare in the mornings, please sign up here.
*** A reminder that JK students are welcomed to attend breakfast club however must be accompanied by a parent or adult.***
A gentle reminder that Breakfast begins at 8:05 for students. They must wait outside until a staff member is on site at 8:05. Once students are finished eating, they are to wait outdoors until the 8:20 bell.
Student drop-off
Welcome to another year at École Itlo. Here is some information regarding student drop offs in the mornings.
Junior kindergarten students are to be accompanied to their classrooms by an adult. The doors open as early as 8AM.
Kindergarten to Grade 5 students are to wait outside on the terrace or the JK playground and monkey bars section until 8:20AM. Please note that supervision begins at 8:05AM.
Kindergarten students are to wait outside until the 8:20 bell.
Hot Lunches
PAC Meeting - October 1st
Welcome to our first PAC meeting this Thursday, October 1st at 6 PM. We will meet in the kitchen. There is an online option to attend virtually here.
Bike Safety
A gentle reminder to walk the bikes when coming onto the school sidewalks. The sidewalks are for the students and families that are walking and so we ask to please refrain from biking on the sidewalks.
