School Anthem Project
École Įtł’ǫ̀ will be participating in a one-week Artist in Residence program next week. Rik Leaf has worked with hundreds of teachers and over 60,000 students in schools across Canada, producing music resources that support Social-Emotional Learning. He and his French business partner, Marie-Josée Dandeneau will be writing, performing and recording a school anthem and creating a video that celebrates the unique characteristics of École Įtł’ǫ̀.
Every student is involved. We start with brainstorming on Monday morning and finish with a performance in the gym on Friday afternoon. Teachers have sent video release forms to return to school. Here is an electronic copy.
