École Įtł’ǫ̀ - Holiday Food Drive

Mme Jasmine and her students have started to organize a holiday food drive within the school. Collection boxes will be available in all classrooms tomorrow, and the food drive starts on December 6th. The last day to send donations is December 15th. We ask our families and students to send non-perishable items to school, and we will make sure all donations go to local groups.

UPDATE, December 6th!

Mme Jasmine recently spoke with Yellowknife Food Rescue. They are specifically asking for the following items as they are in short supply: Kraft Dinner, soup, pasta, pasta sauce, cranberry sauce, canned tomatoes, canned vegetables, cereal, granola bars, crackers, fruit cups, puddings.

We also will have collection boxes set up outside of the gym for our Winter Concert performance on December 15th. This is another excellent opportunity to lend support within our local community.
