Bikes on School Property/Bike Safety

With the arrival of nice weather, it is wonderful to see so many students riding to school and locking their bikes up on our racks. Our school grounds can be a very busy area for foot and vehicle traffic. Therefore we have a couple of reminders for bike safety. We ask that:

  • Students riding on the sidewalks stop and dismount once they arrive on school property. The sidewalks can be a tight fit if there are pedestrians and bikes on them. This also makes sure that the high traffic space by the bike racks and in front of the school is safe for everyone.
  • Cyclists arriving at school and using the traffic lanes follow the direction of traffic. We have seen a few cyclists come onto the grounds in the direction opposite of traffic. Please follow the flow, keep everyone safe and traffic moving smoothly.

Reminder - Parent Survey

Our school district is interested in parents' views on the district as a whole and their schools. We are asking to take a few minutes to fill out a survey allowing you to share your perspectives. All answers are anonymous and confidential. The information provided will help the district plan for future improvements and services. Please use this link to access the survey. The survey remains open until June 2nd.

Reminder - Breakfast Program Volunteers

We are always on the lookout for volunteers for our breakfast program. If you can help us out on a weekday morning between 7:45 and 8:30, please take a look at the PAC's sign-up sheet and consider volunteering. We appreciate your help!
