Godi Enı̨thł’è - June 3rd - June 7th

Last week, all students had the chance to learn and play traditional grames with Reanna and Brendan. Games included Back Tag, One Foot and Two Foot High Jump, Stick Pull and more. Many Thanks to everyone who attended our Spring Concert. Students were truly proud and excited to share their songs and dance.

Hay River Track and Field Chamionships - June 5-6-7
Good luck to all athletes attending the track meet in Hay River. We are asking that you monitor the fire and road closure notices carefully in case of any changes. If your child is going to the track meet with another adult, please email Mme Ashley to let her know (ashley.west-pratt@yk1.nt.ca).

June 7th: Treats for Teachers: No school for students
If you'd like to contribute some tasty treats for Įtłǫ̀ staff Friday, June 7th. These are appreciated by teachers and support staff to fuel their day [they don't have to be fancy or homemade!!). The sign up link/info is included here.
June 14th - Indigenous Peaple's Day at Itlo
École Itlo will be celebrating Indigenous People's Day on the 14th. Similar to last year, students will be buddied up with their big-little buddies and will rotate through various stations. Parents are most welcome to join us in the fun and games.
June 20th - Last Day - Community BBQ
The last day at Itlo is filled with many activites and fun! Here is a list of the events and activities:
9:30 AM - Drum Dance with the Yellowknife Drummers outdoors.
10:30 AM - Assembly in the gym. We will be presenting the Sacred Feather Awards.
11 AM - You are invitied to our BBQ out on the Terrace. Please come and join us in the fun!
2:10 PM - The Grade 5 farewell will take place in the gym.
