SJF Musical - Friday, January 24th

The band students from Sir John will come perform for our from 1-2pm in the gym. Roughly a 30 minute program of songs including movie music, pop-rock hits and some band tunes.

West Coast Seeds' Fundraising program is a great option for schools who are concerned about the environment and want to cultivate strong communities. The school earns 40% of every packet of our high quality seeds that it sells. West Coast Seeds are untreated, non-GMO, and suitable for sustainable organic growing. This year's annual fundraiser runs 06 January 2025 to 26 January 2025. Seeds will be sent in bulk to the organizer for organization and distribution, usually by mid-March. We suggest a minimum order amount of $15.00, local Yellowknife orders only please. Participants can place their order on the West Coast Seeds Fundraising website (select École Įtłʼǫ̀ Elementary School from the drop down menu.)

Book Swap!  📖

Mme Sylvie has graciously organized the book swap again for us this year. You may have already noticed bins out in the corridors. Students can bring in used books in exchange for a ticket. Mme Sylvie will take note of the number of tickets the students have. On Monday,  January 27th, each class will have the chance to choose new books. Here is the poster

Merci Sylvie for organizing this!
