Godi Enı̨thł'è - March 3rd - March 14th
Last week, the grade five students from Mme Gabrielle's class finished off their frisbee unit with a friendly game against the parents during lunch recess. Loads of fun!
Here is the information and events for the next two weeks:
Breakfast Club
We continue to offer a breakfast program to all Itlo studdents. Serving whole wheat toasts, bagels, cereals, milk, cheese, yogurts, oatmeal and fruits. We are looking for Breakfast Program volunteer from 7:50 - 8:40 each morning. If you have a few minutes to spare in the mornings, please sign up here.
Indigenous Language Month (ILM)
Students have been trying to speak as much Willideh at school as possible! All month, names have been written down and put into a box. Last Friday, we drew many names that won city passes and beading kits. The Grand Prize was a dog sledding activity.
Congratulations to the grade 5 students in Mme Garbielle's class for winning the garnd prize!
Darell Chocolate
Darrel Chocolate continues working with our classes this week. Darell is a local artist originally from Gameti. His work is displayed all over the North. You can check out more information on NWT Arts.
Moose Stew and Hand Games
Students will have the chance to try at least one of these two sessions: making moose stew with Cailey Mercredi or learning to play hand games with AJ Cathloique.
