As part of the Dene Kede culture camps, the Kindergarten classes went dogsledding last week with Becks Kennels.

Mme Gabrielle's grade 5s won the Grand Prize for Indigenous Language's Month and they also went dog sledding.

Breakfast Club
We continue to offer a breakfast program to all Itlo studdents. Serving whole wheat toasts, bagels, cereals, milk, cheese, yogurts, oatmeal and fruits. We are looking for Breakfast Program volunteer from 7:50 - 8:40 each morning. If you have a few minutes to spare in the mornings, please sign up here.
Volunteers needed for Zhah Day
Save the date for Zhah Day (Snow day) next Thursday, April 17th - all day.
We will be spending the day outside participating in many fun activities in French. There will be Dene Games such as snow snake, pole push and ring toss, bannock making, caribou and musk ox meats and of course the most tasty francophone activity ; maple syrup pops and more.
We are looking for volunteers who are able to take on a station for a morning, an afternoon or all day. Please sign up on this sheet if you are able to help us out.
Earth Week April 18-24th
In light of Earth week, Ecology North wlll be with us Tuesday, April 8th to help kick off activties with some classes around Earth week. Some classes will have the chance to learn about Seed Starting, Vermicomposting, letters to the land, watersheds and pollution and more.
PAC Meeting - Wednesday, April 9th
All parents and guardians are welcome to come out to the monthly PAC meeting. We meet each month in the school kitchen at 6:30 PM.

Super Soccer Practices
Super Soccer practices start this week. I have included the scheduled practices on the calendar above. All pratices will take place at the school during noon recess.
