Started off the week with a friendly game of soccer - Teacher vs grade 2-3 studentsTeacers vs Grade 2-3 Students
Friday, we celebrated National Indigenous People's Day at École Itlo. Beginning with a feed the fire ceremony with Bobby Drygueese. Followed by stations that classes cycled through for the entire day. Story Telling & bannock, Fish Fry, Dene Games, Basket Making, Water Games, freezies and chalk art, wood chopping and loose parts play.

Breakfast Club
We continue to offer a breakfast program to all Itlo studdents. Serving whole wheat toasts, bagels, cereals, milk, cheese, yogurts, oatmeal and fruits. We are looking for Breakfast Program volunteer from 7:50 - 8:40 each morning. If you have a few minutes to spare in the mornings, please sign up here.
*** A reminder that JK students are welcomed to attend breakfast club however must be accompanied by a parent or adult.***
Important Dates:
June 23rd: Indigenous People's Day - No School
June 25th: School Community BBQ (hotdogs, juices, chalk and bubbles)
June 26th: Grade 5 farewell at 2:15PM. Last day of school for students
It's hard to believe it is already the last week of school. Summer brings on longer days, holidays, families and friends. Wishing you a restful summer. Looking forward to greeting you all in the fall, on August 28th.
