Alternative Programming

KNOWLEDGE AND EMPLOYABILITY (K and E)

The Knowledge and Employability courses are designed for students who learn best through experiences that integrate essential and employability skills in occupational contexts. The courses provide students skills to enter into employment. Students who complete the requirements of this program will gain a leaving certificate in their final year at school. Some students may transition to other academic courses outside of the program, which could lead to a senior high school diploma. Reviewing each student's learning plan on an annual basis and adjusting their goals and courses as needed are important parts of the process.
