Staff Spotlight: Mary-Joan Lafferty

Mary-Joan Lafferty: École Sir John Franklin High School

Mary-Joan Lafferty is the backbone of École Sir John Franklin High School’s Indigenous Language and Culture (ILC) programming. She has been with YK1 since 2012, but has spent the better part of the last 10 years working with staff and students at the high school. She is a very popular and disarming instructor who has made considerable contributions to the growth of ILC instruction. We are so happy to have Mary-Joan and to take a moment to shine the Staff Spotlight in her direction.
